Beijing, the capital of China, in itself is highly sophisticated city. Beijing is not only the Forbidden city and Great wall, much more -yet undefined. In spite the northern hemisphere being closest to the sun during the pinnacle of summer ie. the month of May . The parallel winds that blew from the east, could stop any human to walk.  The chilled winds even made me ill, but didn't stop me from exploring the place.

A tour in Beijing would be incomplete without going to Tienanmen Square,  The Forbidden City and The Great Wall. Tienanmen Square is best visited during the evening times, for the military parade that happens, feel of valor and patriotism. Forbidden city is right besides the Tienanmen Square also known as Palace Museum. Finally Great Wall, couple of hours drive from the capital, its a marvelous man made creation. Construction of such big wonder for transportation during those old ages will always amaze anyone and also give a knowledge why Chinese are on top in construction of infrastructure, it's in their history and genes

Good hotels in Beijing could be found around Tienanmen Square, good hostels too. Being the capital, there are fancy big hotels to stay. But always remember some hotels restrict foreigners. Also, nice hotels for foreigners stay is available at Beijing Railway Station. I personally choose to stay at Howard Johnson, as a western hospitality brand gives the luxury.

Another place not to stop is Wangfuching street. There exists two parallel streets one for food and one for world brand retail luxury. Food street is bit awful due to various unique food like insects. Also, retail therapy at commercial street is also another shopping activity in the Chinese capital. The most interesting part commercial street is street hawkers they speak English and even chase you to sell their products. Quite interesting!!

Food and language had been a hesitant part for me during the trip. Beijing foods are bland, however other parts of China like Sichuan has the spiciest foods available and appropriate to the taste-buds carving for spice. And for language one can expect to be a clown if one does not know even basic Chinese, like numbers, greetings and directions.

Uniquely, Asian culture comprises connecting the people in the society, takes more of a social approach. That could be seen in China as well. The discipline would amaze everyone for a country still behind the bamboo curtain. For a bewildering experience Beijing is always open.

Often referred as the Tourism Capital in #Nepal, Pokhara is a silent destination with flashy hotels, calm waters i.e. the famous Fewa Lake, and gateway to the world's famous Annapurna Trekking route. In a nutshell, picturesque hill city.

Typically Nepal is famous for two seasons, March-June and September - November, so Pokhara is no exception for the tourist season. With clear skies anyone would love to start their day with crystal clear snow capped mountains right from their window.

Boating at Fewa is the most common activity that tourists love to do. One can self pedal the boat or hire a person to row the boat. The calm waters may get dangerous at times when there are waves and Himalayan wind.

The evening times at lakeside. Fewa Lake is more vibrant during the night times. For those who love secluded and silent evening there are restaurants open facing the dark lake and hi fi party goers have clubs pubs and discotheque readily available.

Hiking and a day hike till Australian Base Camp is highly recommended for those who travel a short trip to the Himalayan city. A day's hike till Austrian Base Camp and then back to Pokhara or stay a day at the Base Camp, they do have good lodges around that place.
And what could beat the Thakali food. Mahili , my personal favorite is a hot spot nearby Lakeside to have Thakali dish. Rice, lentils, curry with masala, fermented pickle, fermented spinach and a side dish meat makes the dish very scrumptious for food connoisseur.

Hotels come in various range. From economy lodges to big fancy European star hotels (no American hotel brands have entered Pokahra yet). Also, if anyone is trying to go local and live the local life, there are plenty of options of Homestays which are well equipped for a tourist stay.

Another unsought activity in Pokhara is visit to vegetation farm project made during the Shah Monarchs by support of British at Lumle. Very good for educational purpose this place gives the knowledge of veggies  before being served in the plate.

Feeling the fresh air at Austrian Base Camp

Breathe some good air, feel the chill and soak up the sun, for adventure junkie its Paragliding and Bungee Jump. You can see the best bird's eye view of the picturesque mountains, Himalayas and the waters. Adventure never dies in this city, specially known for the valor of Gurkhas, this place happened to be developed by the expats from the Gurung and Magar communities joining the British regiment during the the first great war, who are also the local inhabitant of this beautiful city.

A day trip with a local guide or hiring a bike for a day exploring the places by own self, the calmness of the city will always enthrall anyone.

Travelling Thailand in the best weather is November till January which receives the lowest rainfall in Bangkok making less humid. But still the temperature spikes upto 30 C. Well that would not stop anyone from enjoying the bustling city. All from man made marvels like Manahokhon Skywalk to holy palaces and temples.

With clear skies of December all over Thailand, the waters in the ocean are much pristine, clear and calm. Aromas of Thai special foods that lubricate any taste buds, that's Thailand for everyone. Relaxing and rejuvenating in the glorious spa therapy in every corner of the country. Not to forget the highly rich Buddhist traditions and culture. The never ending night-life which attracts all of the world and for those who wanna go extra has all the adult entertainment possible, Pattaya earns more brownies for that adult entertainment.
During my visit, most of the time was spent in Bangkok, Na Jomiten a tourist city driven by Russian Tourists and an island Koh Samet.Bangkok is a very well known destination. Famous for shopping, night life and even big hospitals. I might run out of words explaining Bangkok.

Jomtien is a city a few 10 kms south of Pattaya. It has big resorts facing the sea towards the east. Before coming to Jomtien, a quick trip to the zoo is advised. Best travelled with family and children. Jomtien for me is a  town for those who love the sea and sand. Luxurious hotels, sea side resorts at affordable prices, that’s the speciality of Jomtien. Also, Jomtien is famous for eco-parks and rural tourism. Engaging in activities like rice farming, visit to Chinese villages makes tourism in Jomtien unique.

Koh Samet is not a familiar island to tourists, making it a somewhat virgin island. Staying there is affordable and even the foods are inexpensive. In 2019 December, one day tour for 6 islands including snorkeling and lunch was just USD 13.00 that's a lot for a meagre price one pays.

Thailand is a world destination. The vibrant nation attracts people all across the world. Its not only about the beauty of the place, the warm hospitality of the people is more charming that attracts visitors to Thailand. Frank and open people with a smile on their face, makes Thailand much memorable.
