// TRIP TO DHARMPURI AND HOGENAKKAL FALL //

Well this trip had been abruptly planned.
I and my roommate
had been to Dharmapuri, a city 280 kms far from Chennai between Hosur. The only
sad thing was the transport to Dharmapuri is the government bus
with numerous stops.
It was my first experience of authentic south Indian culture. Had the most scrumptious vegetarian breakfast before the wedding started.
Indeed it was different experience at the wedding. Simple,
calm and obviously South and not loud as north Indian wedding come-on Punjabi's!
The marriage ended
by morning eight am and then guests had started coming for wishing the newly wed.

It was only Eleven by the time we left Dharmapuri,we searched places near Dharmapuri over the Google and wallah…
3 star rated place to visit was Hogenakkal Falls.
Situated between the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, is a lazy sub-urban area perfect for the ideal South Indian picnic….
The picnic food consists mainly white rice and fish items, in Hogenakkal Falls. I went for full body massage for INR 200 which they call it special massage. But you won’t get soft ladies hand a stout hand, and many chances the one who gives you massage may be a drunk guy (we had a drunk guy) then of course bathing under the natural falls is the most heavenly experience also the free foot manicure.
Yes, fish, massage, bath and fish foot manicure is my
impression to that area. And, apart from that natural beauty and lots of sun
are other specialty to be noted. Boating at the river may prove dangerous since
the river is heavily infested with crocodiles, but still people don’t mind
floating over the crocs!
According to
localities
there, the most beautiful time to
visit the area would be September. Even during March the weather being super
hot and the rock heated like a pan, the water were indeed chilling and I felt
in love with this place, a very closer place to Bangloreans who wants a weekend
